This position will be responsible for learning to make pasters, set up reels, load newsprint rolls properly, and produce a quality newspaper. - Sets up and operates multi-color flexographic printing presses. The Press Operator I will produce a broad range of products on a variety of color converting equipment. Uses established procedures and works under immediate supervision. 1. Obtaining information from documentation such as blueprint drawings, job packets. 2. Loading raw material on to press. 3. Installing tooling (e.g. dies, cylinders, etc.) onto press. 4. Mixing inks to produce the specified colors. 5. Set up and operation of automated turret rewinders. 6.
